The 23rd of October is a sad day for all those who watch the Motorcycle racing. I am a daddies little girl, so follow my dads foot prints, i follow his loves and take them as my own. One of them is the love of motorbikes and the races they hold.

Today. Sunday the 23 rd of October, the races lost a brilliant racer, he was killed in an unfortunate crash. No one could have prevented it and the two riders around him had no where else to go but straight on. If you reading this and know what i am on about you will know that crash was one of the worst crashes with a fatality. These things just happen and there isn't anything anyone can do about it.

If you don't know what i am talking about, it doesn't matter, but let me just tell you one name, Marco Simoncelli, this name means a lot to people, he was 24 years of age and just starting to get his presence known in the MotoGP 1000CC races.

I am telling you this because i wanted people to know, just because one life is ending doesn't meant that it will be forgotten, you can write about it, think about it, remember it on the day for years to come. People will never forget the name of the rider and reminisce about the days he rode well, they will always wonder if there was a chance of saving him. But there wasn't.
I am telling you this because just because he is dead doesn't mean that we should forget. Racing is a sport, just like anything else, but with more risks.

Just for a challenge on this hard day, i want you to remember all the people you have last and write down three words that come to your mind about them. Whether they are good things or bad, it doesn't matter, not everyone we love we like. But they are still there in our heads no matter how long ago it was.

Never forget the dead, just remember the good times you have shared.
In memory of Marco Simoncelli, the Italian rider who died on the 23rd October 2011.

Thank you,
J.A.M
