What annoys you the most?

I know I haven’t up dated my blog in a while. I have good reason for it. It’s just one word; the word begins with a W. You may know it. Yes, it is indeed WORK. I have currently been employed to work a Kennels.

A first it was okay, hard but I was new and hoping it would get easier. Oh I couldn’t have been more wrong. It seemed to have got harder.
I am sure you know kennels looks after dogs and cats when their owners are away, but you might not know the work put into keep the animals happy. They are walked twice a day, in the morning and in the afternoon. Obviously fed, given treats every now and again, about obviously have a clean kennel to live in temporarily.

At this point if you have a dog think watch it how it might sleep so soundly, walk around with a pleased look on its face and there might even be that put if a spark in its eyes.
Well look beyond that and I am sure you will find a little monster lurking. I am pretty sure there are dogs out there just waiting for a poor innocent person (me) to unleash it’s devil side on.
It might sound a little daft, but please, the dogs at kennels bark all the time they make a mess constantly just after you’ve cleaned it. They get you into trouble but they escape from the kennel and create havoc in their wake. They disturb the other dogs who are sitting quietly, making them bark and jump up.

I get so frustrated with my job, as I am sure others will get annoyed for different reasons. But there is only one reason why I hate my job so much. It’s because of the rain. I get soaked nearly every time I work. The dogs get excited and start pulling you, I fell once in to a puddle and got soaked yet again.

You know what you get into one of those moods where everything just annoys you. Well I am sorry, but I am in one of those moods and thought why not put it into good use and put a new post up because I didn’t done so in some time.

I was also wondering what annoys you the most. Take a minute to think about what it is about the world that makes you most annoyed.
It would be interesting to find out.

Thank you,

HAVE FAITH IN WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

Most of my child hood was take up with writing. But I never knew I would get this far in life. I thought getting a book of mine published was so far away it was nearly in Mars. I just kept walking forwards, trying to get to the places I want to be. I lost hope a few times but I swear there is a guardian angel out there getting my faith back. If there is and your reading this then thank you.

For the rest of you out there, don't lose heart in what you are doing because there are too many obstacles, just jump as high as you can, run as fast as possible and get to where you want to be. I know writing is hard and editing is an up hill climb without a rest but once you get up the hill the view is amazing. There is just the down hill left. That bit is where you have a rest and you do a leisurely stroll towards another book you want to write or edit and it starts again but the hill is smaller.

I know this might be a little bit pointless and as i am sure i've said before, don't lose faith in what you are doing because then you are showing people you have no dedication and you you've forgotten what it is like to have something that means so much to you. Don't forget the one reason on  why you are writing. Write it down if you have to, I know I have somewhere in  my room, lost but never forgotten because i have revise the reason so many times I can see the letter what I close my eyes.

I said on the last post i'd keep you up to date to tell you when my novel, Sworn 2 Secrecy Revolutionise, is up for purchase.
Just thought i'd let you know it is now. Finally finished it and published it on Lulu.com, there is a link on the side.

When you first published you need to order a proof copy, it might sound obvious but you need to. Anyways, i did and you should've seen me, i was bouncing all around the room, when i answered to door i could've hugged the guy but thought better of it. But i was crying a little bit. I'd been dreaming of the day for so long i didn't think it would come.

I'm going to keep this short and say if you want to do something so bad, you will because there is nothing stopping you, whether it is family not being supportive, your scared of doing it or you just think you cant.
There is nothing in the world to stop you from making a dream come reality. Live you life and always be ready for the obstacles that are going to thrown into the road. Don’t be scared to jump your highest of fear of falling, there will always be someone to catch you again.

Check out the link, I really hope you enjoy the novel.
Thank you,

So as you know when I first started this blog I was in the middle of getting my first novel edited. There were many things I didn’t know back then; the editing process has taken a lot of time, effort and dedication. But through the months I have learnt a lot of things about editing, but about myself.
I’m not going to bore you with a story of all the things I’ve learnt, there are way too many to say on here. But I know there are many things in life not everyone knows. Like the amount of time that goes into editing, or how much patience I actually have.

I am just about finished, the editing is done, maybe a few tweaks here and there, but still I am there. Some members of the family don’t even know what I am doing; others who do know don’t believe I can do it.  A few of my friends don’t believe me. But you know what, I have worked harder than ever, at first I wanted to show people I could do. Then things changed, I realised I wanted to publish because I love to write and I want people to be inspired by me.
I love writing, it has been a big thing to me for a good few years now, this is the first time I am actually proud of something I have done. Writing Sworn 2 Secrecy has been the one thing which hasn’t let me down.

I will let you into a little secret, I actually wrote Sworn 2 secrecy when I was 13, I was bored and I didn’t really want to do anything else, so instead I just sat at my computer and started typing.
I finished writing it six or seven months later, I know you might think that’s a very long time, well it is, but there were other things getting in they way when I writing it.
So when I finished it, I didn’t know what to do with it, I wasn’t really sure on what to do. So I left it, then when I was 15 I was introduced to an already published writer. Man, I didn’t think my life could get any better. She has taught me so much, I realised what I wanted to do. Writing is a way of expressing yourself.
Whether you’re angry, sad, upset, happy or ecstatic. Anything you write needs emotion to grip the reader and keep a hold so they won’t put it down.

In Sworn 2 Secrecy there are many things I hope capture the reader’s imagination, but there is one thing in there that I want people to remember. Brother Hood, I won’t give anything away just yet.
The three brothers in this novel experience everything, loss, anger, sadness, love, power; they have been divided and pulled together through a bigger force. I’m not sure about being a brother, but I am a sister and I know my brother doesn’t really need me to look out for him, but I worry about him a lot.
I tried to understand what the relationship is between brothers, so I observed people with their brothers, I realised their bond is strong. They are both as strong as one another, but together their combined forces hold each other together.
The three brothers in my novel are all strong separate, but together no one can stop them. The eldest isn’t so sure of himself, the middle is the strongest, physically, and the youngest is the best plans and ideas. But they need each other to get through their lives.

I wanted to promote my novel and I will let you know what it is out for purchase, but it won’t be long now.
Thank you,

The closer to finishing something the faster your heart beats and the harder you work. It gives you a heart stopping wrench of hope.

I can say, through experience, your first novel will be the best thing ever, the feeling you get when your nearly there, it can never be beaten. Im sure your aware writing the actual novel is the easy bit, it when you start the editing it get hard. Once you get into it you find there are the same mistakes all the way through and you have to change all of them. I know it can sometimes feel like a never ending task.

But you know it can always be made easier when you have someone who knows what they are doing and what they are looking for, they will clue you into what your doing. I know what you look at it the pages of your novel, when you don't know what your looking at it looks perfect.

I did that, thought it was perfect, but realised there were a billion mistakes, and I'm sure every writer who had just started out did the same. It's all about leaning, you have to learn the things you need to look at. You have to be patient with it.

Not only patience but also dedication, some people can do the task, but there are a few who can't because they are not 100% in the task. For you to be the best you can be you need to look inside yourself to find you are ready for it. To be a writer there might be a certain amount of fear. I don't want to admit this, but when i first started i was scared about what i was meant to do, if i was good enough. I didn't know what i was meant to do if they said it wasn't good enough.
But of course they didn't, but its that first and last step where you need to show your true feelings about the novel. I know after all the work I've put in I am going to publish it, but there is also the fear of people not really being bothered about it. But i guess there is always family.

It will be a bumpy ride for you, i know it was for me, but there are always people who you know who wont care, they wont be bothered because they don't know the work going into the novel. I know it will dishearten you to hear this, but its not what I'm trying to do, I just want to make you aware, but you have to rise above and get past it.

let the world of myths and legend open up to you, there are a million different things you could write, wither is be a fantasy, thriller, crime, anything, just get an idea and run with it. No matter how daft it might sound in the beginning. It will work out as you get deeper into it.

I am doing this post because i know as a writer, some need to have a little bit of encouragement. It is hard and it feels like its never going to end, but once you get the hang of it, the task will get a little bit easier as you get through it. If you are reading this, then just take a moment to think about why you are writing, just remember why you started writing in the first place. Always keep that in mind, don't forget why.

Thank you,

i have just read http://www.erhinspired.blogspot.com/. She said to use these five point:

1 We want to know about who you'd like to meet. Briefly describe them.

2 We want to know where you'd go. Briefly describe the place.

3 We want to know about the one object you would hold till death. describe briefly

4 We'd like to know about the perfect job. Describe what it is and what you do.

5 Include the last line from a poem, something that is relevant to you. don't forget to credit the quote to the author at the end.

I know you might be a little confused, but let me explain. These five points will be five verses of a poem, it doesn't have to rhyme, but you have to use the five poems to explain what you wish your life is going to be like in to future. Five points, five verses.
This is mine:

Hoping for a better future is me,
My perfect boy friend or husband is the key,
He would have to be sweet and able to make a good cup of tea.
He'd have to be funny and of course, good looking.
THe perfect man.

Hoping for the perfect place,
Life is better when you feel safe,
Life, for me, is better in the middle of nowhere,
In the middle of Texas,
The heat and the accent, is the perfect place and people.

Hoping for the perfect ornament,
The would have to be a wolf,
A wolf watching over the family i will have,
A wolf to look after the family when I'm gone,
Just because wolves are the perfect animal to love.

Hoping for the perfect poem,
Not something that is easy,
But i'll tell you what,
This is the last few line of my own,
'The possibility of a life with someone else?
It's just the heart taking over from the brain,
But it's possible.'
This is the perfect poem for me.

Thank you for reading this, have a great night and please send me your own. It would be great to see other peoples.

Thank you,

WHAT WOULD YOU RATHER BE?

I have recently read www.erhinspired.blogspot.com/ newest post, and I have to say she put a very good question out into the world. A question that I have asked people many times before. I know full well that people's personalities link in with the animal they choose.

So I was thinking, what animal most represents me, so here goes:

There are wolves, they are Pack animals and live in families, I love my family so it fits. They are good hunters and they are very cute, in my opinion. They have a leader, their Alpha, I think of myself follower in some ways. I prefer to go off on my own sometimes so that would make me different from other wolves.

So leading onto that I would be an eagle, they can fly and have a free spirt, they look at the world in a different way, from high above the land we see and even though i am scared of heights I think if I get up there I would lave. Eagles are beautiful animals, they are graceful and me personally I'm not that graceful so maybe thats were the similarities end.

Erhinspired thought that she was an elephant because the never forget, I think that she is right, she doesn't forget, but me I am useless and would forget my head if it wasn't screwed on tight. But then I was thinking, if there was any animal in the world it would either be the eagle because they live somewhere far away, they are free, they can fly high above the clouds and see the moon every night. Or it would be the wolf, because they are beautiful animals and they can run free amongst the trees and smell the wet grown after it had rained. Or trudge through the snow in winter and watch their pups play.

If someone said tomorrow there is a drug that they can give you to make you into anything you wanted then I would be torn between the eagle and the wolf. I don't know what is more precious to me, they are both beautiful animals and they both represent me in ways I don't think that people see me.

So give it some thought and get back to us, have a look on http://www.erhinspired.blogspot.com/ to see what she said, it is rather amusing, as always.

Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
