i have found myself being sat in a car with nothing to do but to listen my own thoughts and ideas inside of me.
My 'inner voice' as i like to call it and many others will do too. But it speaks to me. I know that it sounds completely crazy and unbelievable but it is actually true.
in my head there are twp sides, reality based and the writer side with the impossibilities of life.
One side verses the other, as in most novels.
But that is what makes you who you are. The ways that you can turn something normal, like traffic in to something exciting. The whaky weird ideas are always the best because you can dull it down a little for adult readers or make it more exciting and different for the teenage reader.
That makes the difference between a good idea and a brilliant one. with a little but more work on it.
So back to the basic point here, if you find you self in a car, train or, bus or even a plane, like i am sat in a car now. Listen to the ideas flow through you, write them down on paper, use your arm if you have to. This is when you are just you, because you have no one to impress no one to hide away from, no one to talk to (If you with your family then tell them what your idea is and see what they think)
Never be afraid to express your self, writers explore themselves and who they are as a person. It shows how you react to different things and experiences and interpret them in different ways.

momentary inspiration.
sit in a place that you feel comfortable and it will help you with your ideas.
if you are stuck on a description for a place or a personality for one of your characters. I found that being in a place that lets you be surrounded by people either on your own or with your friends is a great time to get past the blocks that you have.
Take in everything. The sights, smells, the touch of the seat you are sat at, the feel of the counter your stood at. The people you are near, reinvent the conversations around you. write everything down, no matter how small, even if it the colour of a clip that a girl is wearing, it does not matter. Your surroundings will help you with everything. Always count in your own views and change things to how you want them to be. Just think, i could just be the beginning of you new short story or novel.
Don't be scared of what you see. Look deeper between the lines of what people say, determine the reasoning behind the body language. No one will ever find out what you are writing and no one will really care, because it will be yours. They might be the subject of your views but they are a base line of your creativity and your own imagination. Your friends are there to help you in so many ways. They are not just people to confide in, not just someone to have fun with or talk to when you are too happy to stay on your own. They are a baseline to everything you write and what you think.
If you are in school, college, university, a full time job or nothing at all devoting your life to your write, expose yourself to everything. To the people in the world, to the new cultures you can discover if you peel away the surface of what people make you believe. You just have to observe everything around you.

Do you ever find yourself sat in a room unable to say anything? If you do that you might relate.
Being a writer has all its up and downs but i have found that being in a room with friends, family who ever it might be. It could well be a starting point to a plot for a new idea you have got. Or a base line for a character or even that one title you could not think of.
I always find myself in the corner or on the floor listening to the buzzing conversation around me. But you know what, I love it. Watching people behave with each other and how they talk with each other.
A few of my characters have actually been sparked off by my family. my brother and my cousins have helped mould the basis of a few of them.
What i am getting at is that just because you are with family you should be relaxed and let the ideas fall with in you.
When you are relaxed inspiration comes naturally. When you sit at your deck you should already have the idea, because when you try and make ideas come it never really works out, well for me it doesn't. Your brain stop and this is what usually makes 'writers block' strike.
Just stay relaxed and always have a pen in your pocket or in your bag. Somewhere where it is handy, there have been too many ideas passed by because I never had a pen.
Thank you and always be inspired.

I once asked myself why i wrote. I looked at my work and the first thought that came to my head 'This could be better' then the thrill of getting to edit my own work and re reading and re typing and knowing that it is my work and i know that someone around the world will be reading that at some point in my life. I know that i can changed everything and anything or keep some of it and change it to what i think sounds better.
So ask yourself this question 'Why am i writing?' the answer runs a long the lines of 'Becuase i want to' Then that it perfect. You will not fel the same passion i do if you write becuase you are thinking about what you readers might think. If you do that you will not produce something as best to your abillity.
Dont be scared of what you write. Imbrace the thrill and cherish the happiness that you will feel when you have finished your first chapter, first novel. It does not matter what it is. No matter what people think, what you feel will make you feel so proud of you work. Only write becuase YOU want to write.
Tell everyone or tell no one. It does not matter, keep it to yourself scream it from the top of a mountain it does not matter what you do. just remember wirting is exploring inside your self.
Have faith in everything you do.

When my friend told me that she had a friend that had a book already published. The first thought that went through my head was that she might not like what i have done. To me my work is not as good as other people think. When i write something i know that it is only a base line for what i want it to end up like.
I was so scared to send some of my work to her i thought that there was no point. I had been shot down dozens of times before and i thought that this was no different.
But you now it think that it was the best decision i have made ever.
People should not be scared of others to read your work. You should always have confidence in your work. Let your best friend read it. Let your parents read it. I have not told all my family that i have been meeting up with my advisor because i am still scared of what they might think.
If you are a writer and you have a family as big as mine then, announce it to the world that you are getting somewhere. Have hope in them, you know more than they might. They will ask you questions about it, you have to be confident in your work.
But most of all have faith in your own work.
